What’s Up CNH?

Today, we have a special post all about the District Board Meeting that the CNH District Board will be hosting TODAY

Now you might be wondering, what is a District Board Meeting (DBM)? As per CNH District Bylaws, DBMs are open to the general membership of the CNH District and occur at a minimum of five times per term. Continually, these meetings convene to discuss major proposals, policies, and decisions that pertain to various aspects of the CNH District. This can take the form of choosing the theme of the District Convention for the year (which will be happening tonight), to the changing of the price of dues (which happened in the past) or even confirming a new initiative, event, or project for the term!

Although the only voting members at DBMs are Elected District Board of Officers (ie. District Governor, District Secretary, District Treasurer, Lieutenant Governors), they were elected to represent YOU, and ensure that the concerns of the division and district are heard. I encourage each of you to review the DBM packets (which are sent out to Club & Divisional Leadership) before each meeting and ensure that your concerns are heard by the District, regarding any of the items that are on the agenda for the meeting. The CNH District encourages members to reach out to District Officers to ensure any questions, comments, or concerns are being heard and put into consideration by the voting officers during DBMs.
