Sunspot Sunday #21 | January District Board Meeting
January 24, 2021
What’s Popping CNH?
Today marks the second to last District Board Meeting of the 2020-2021 Term! Today, the District Board will meet to discuss proposals for the future of CNH Circle K, ranging from future service initiatives to the location of the 2024 District Convention!
Don’t know what a District Board Meeting is? Check out this TLDR from LAST DBM Recap:
Now you might be wondering, what is a District Board Meeting (DBM)? As per CNH District Bylaws, DBMs are: open to the general membership, occur a minimum of five times per term. Continually, these meetings convene to discuss major proposals, policies, and decisions that pertain to various aspects of the CNH District.
Although the only voting members at DBMs are Elected District Board of Officers (ie. District Governor, District Secretary, District Treasurer, Lieutenant Governors), they were elected to represent YOU, and ensure that the concerns of the division and district are heard. I encourage each of you to review the DBM packets (which are sent out to Club & Divisional Leadership) before each meeting and ensure that your concerns are heard by the District, regarding any of the items that are on the agenda for the meeting. The CNH District encourages members to reach out to District Officers to ensure any questions, comments, or concerns are being heard and put into consideration by the voting officers during DBMs.
The January District Board Meeting happened on January 24th at 2:00 PM PST / 11:00 AM HDT, so be sure to check out the proposals!
Be sure to check out the January District Board Packet!
To attend FUTURE District Board Meetings, Be sure to contact your Club Officers, your Lieutenant Governor, or the District Secretary!
