Sunspot Sunday #2 | What’s (CKI) Next?

Aloha CNH!
I want to begin by officially welcoming you all to the 2020-2021 Term, as well as introduce myself as I will be taking the coming weeks to provide you all with content here, on the CNH District Sunspot!
My name is Aaron Piña (he/she/they), and I am ecstatic to serve the CNH District Communications & Marketing Committee as the External Relations Chair for the term! A little more about me, I am entering into my second year at the University of Nevada, Reno, majoring in Psychology, Philosophy - Ethics Law & Politics, and Graphic Design! I also am proud to serve the Nevada CKI Club as President for this term, and I love long walks on the beach, vegan food, & music! I am so excited to see where this term takes us, and if you ever need tips on content creation, public relations, or what new music is popping right now - be sure to contact me at ANY time (seriously like I’m always awake).
Anyways, with that out of the way, I also want to introduce our new weekly series known as “Sunspot Sundays” where, every Sunday for the term, I will be bringing you new content right here on the Sunspot! So be sure to check back each week, at 12:00 PM PDT, for your update on what’s going on in the CNH District!

With the COVID-19 Pandemic the Circle K International Board, this past May, had decided to officially cancel the 2020 International Convention (otherwise known as ‘CKIx’) in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada. As they noted, “While we did not come to this decision lightly and recognize how disappointing it is, we are confident it is the responsible decision for our members and CKI as a whole.”
However, the Circle K International Board & the proactive 2020 CKIx Committee has prepared a brand new experience for the members of Circle K International: CKI Next.
This will be the first global conference of its kind, with regard to Circle K International History, and is FREE for members to attend! This event, spanning from July 18th to the 19th, is YOUR opportunity to continue in your Circle K journey, through workshops, keynote speakers, award sessions, service opportunities & more!
