In the morning through afternoon on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, members will assist at the Supply Sales booth as well as our Circle K booth performing mini tabletop projects. By having members check in early each day at the Kiwanis Convention we can ensure proper attendance of our registered members.

What we will be doing: We will be creating our very own greeting cards to make a child smile. we will also have instructions and paper available to make origami cranes.
Service Project: Coloring Books and Crayons for Pediatric Hospitals
Saturday, 8/15/2009 Exhibit Hall at Circle K Booth 12:00pm – 5:00 pm What these are going towards: We will be assembling mini coloring books to be donated to children's units. This gives an opportunity for children to stay calm as well. The books will have simple, easy going pages in hopes of giving them some relief. Crayons will also be packaged in individual boxes or bags so that they can be given to one child per time thus reducing spread of bacteria. What we will be doing: We will be assembling coloring books and crayon packages. |
