MR Mondays: Week 2, January 2020
January 13, 2020
Good Afternoon Sunny CNH!
Welcome to the second edition of Member Recognition Mondays for January 2020! This week is dedicated to the members who have shown their potential as future leaders in our organization from the central divisions! Without further ado, please join me in congratulating these individuals!
🐢Central Coast Division🐢
Kaulen Ly, Moorpark College
Kaulen demonstrates leadership actively in his home club, Moorpark College CKI. As the Vice President of Administration, Kaulen actively encourages others to participate in CKI events, in addition to keeping the club board on track of their individual tasks. By actively participating in leadership roles within Moorpark College, Kaulen shows amazing potential as an individual leader.
Fun Fact: Kaulen loves Korean Barbecue in addition to eating out at various restaurants related to Asian food!
🌵Desert Oasis Division🌵
Patrick Payumo, College of Southern Nevada
Patrick joined the club this past Fall quarter and has been increasingly more active in our organization. Among all of his contributions, Patrick attended all of the events throughout our December Weekend of Awesomeness Weekend and has been doing his best to engage with members from throughout our division. Likewise, Patrick has been working hard on being a great board member and has been putting in a lot of effort into learning what it means to become a leader. We look forward to see his growth!
🔥Foothill Division🔥
Audrey Abbott, Pasadena City College
Audrey is an upcoming star within the Circle K leadership scene. She has always been super active in her first year, despite not being apart of Key Club in high school. Audrey has been to most of the big Circle K events, and even applied and accepted her place within Pasadena City College Circle K Appointed Board as their Member Development & Education Chair. The Foothill Division is super excited to see what she will be doing in the future with her amazing leadership skills and the way she can command a room. A leader who’s skills include, but are not limited to: sending funny memes, relating to any member, expert venting coach, Panda Express associate and amazing friend–we are so lucky to have such a hatching taking flight as such an early stage in college! Audrey shows great potential in Circle K and I am super excited to see where she will in this organization!
Fun Fact: Audrey works at Panda Express!
That’s it for this week! Tune in next week for some more Member Recognition Mondays as we travel south to the southern divisions!
