Hi there! Welcome to another week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize new members who stand out for their involvement in Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:
Central Coast: Julian Perez , UC Merced
Julian has been very active with his home club! As a first year, he is the service chair and is constantly finding new and creative service events for his club! His hard work and dedication is appreciated by all in the club!
Desert Oasis: Xuexing Ong, UC Riverside
Xue has been very involved in the few weeks since the start of this quarter. He attended many Welcome Week events, services, workshops, CKI South, and Fall Training Conference all in just his first month in the club! It's great that he's been so involved this early on! Xue is very friendly and fits right into our CKI family - be sure to say hello if you see him around!
Foothill: Leydi Navarrete, CSU Los Angeles
Since tabling, Leydi has bonded with her home club and division immensely! She interacts through her consistent presence, love for service, and friendly charisma. Recently, Leydi attended and heavily involved herself with all the Foothill Fam, club, and district events! She captivates the love of her club to division through her service and dedication towards CKI <3
Thank you to these new members for going above and beyond! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow new members who stand out for their involvement in Circle K and check back next week to see more members get recognized!
