Congratulations to…

🐮 Jean Choi, UC Davis, Capital 🐮
As VPA, Jean has been a friendly face and source of support to every board and general member at UC Davis. This month she helped us seamlessly transition the club back from break by planning and hosting various Welcome Week events.
🍊 Jade Goodman, Irvine Valley College, Citrus 🍊
Jade has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. She is constantly working with her board to ensure CKI at Irvine Valley College has everything it needs to succeed. Whether it’s coming out to divisional events or planning for the future with her board, Jade is not afraid to step up to make sure the job gets done. She has been an amazing President thus far and is fully deserving of being our Member of the Month.
🌵 Anh Vo, UN Las Vegas, Desert Oasis 🌵
Anh has been a dedicated member since the summer before their first year of college. They have gone to practically every meeting, whether that be general, board, or committee, and you can spot them on the sign ups for almost all socials, service, and fundraisers. They are a familiar face that is lovely to have around. This term wouldn’t have been the same without them.
🔥 Philip Paes, Pasadena City College, Foothill 🐔
He is always there alongside his president whenever there’s a vacancy in the board, he’s always making sure everyone knows that it’s okay to take breaks, he never makes anyone feel like they’re not doing enough. He’s the ICC rep, but does as much work as a VP. He truly goes above and beyond and would not ask for anyone different to be on my board.
🌉 Andy Fu, UC Berkeley, Golden Gate 🦭
Andy is the Kiwanis Family Relations Chair for his home club. Throughout the fall semester, he took on the formidable task of planning UC Berkeley Circle K’s annual Key to College. Despite never attending this event before, Andy confidently led many committee meetings to plan it out. On top of organizing Key to College, he also coordinated Fall Cazadero, a full-day KFAM event with Berkeley Kiwanis. Fall Cazadero was actually the day before Key to College and both were during Halloweekend, so planning and attending both events demonstrates his excellent commitment to the club. On the day of Key to College, Andy calmly made sure everything went according to plan and the Key Club attendees were very engaged throughout all the workshops.
Outside of his position, Andy has been consistently involved in the club. In fact, he was part of the top 2 people in the club with the most service hours by the end of the fall semester. He will no doubt go on to achieve great things next term. Way to go Andy!!
🐼 Ian Britton, UC San Diego, Paradise 🍍
Although they are a new member this term I have seen them step up to try to make an inclusive space for all members. They go out if their comfort zone to join events and enter experiences and it truly embodies the CKI spirit to me
