Good Afternoon Sunny CNH!

A new week means more recognition! This time, these members are from the central divisions of Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill!

🐢Central Coast Division🐢
Yousef Malik, Moorpark College

Yousef Malik is currently one of the most active members in our division! Yousef often does his best attend socials while also volunteers consistently to drive fellow members to Circle K events! Yousef is said to bring enthusiasm in Circle K through service, leadership, or fellowship! He displays this not only through our service events but also though his YouTube Channel @megamariolink! The Central Coast Division is happy to recognize Yousef for all his efforts!
Fun Fact: He has a Youtube channel, @megamariolink

🌵Desert Oasis Division🌵
Amy Kobayashi, UC Riverside

Amy stepped up to the position of secretary when no one else would. She is always there to greet members at general meetings and goes to as many events as she can even with a busy schedule. Amy is very meticulous with all her work like with MRFs and is proactive about improving her position and the club by looking for new ways to make CKI exciting. She is always striving to grow and I think she has done a great job so far!
Fun Fact: Amy is obsessed with pink. She wants everything to be pink.

🔥Foothill Division🔥
Joey Duong, Pasadena City College

Joey has taken steps to create a more positive environment in their home club by not only stepping up as President but also ensuring that all her members are okay. She is constantly ensuring everyone is taken care of and that everyone gets their carpools at events. She has always been able to put other members and is always willing to help. As President, Joey has created a positive environment by not allowing emotions cloud her judgement–constantly having patience and allowing herself to have time to process the words that may be said. She has grown a lot this term so far and by allowing her board to have creative freedom allows their passions to shine through to the club. Joey is a role model and leads by example–constantly looking for a better tomorrow and making sure that her chin is always up even in the darkest of moments.
Fun Fact: She goes to a lot of raves & has served as Lt.G for two divisions while her tenure as President.

Thanks for tuning in and we’ll see you next week with another round of recognition, southern division style!
