Hi there! Welcome to another week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize members who have the potential to be a future leader in Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:
Central Coast: Melissa Carpenter, Cal Poly SLO
Melissa is a member that has always been a potential leader. She attends all of her meetings and is always willing to help out the board at their home club! Her eagerness for Circle K makes her great potential leader for this organization.
Desert Oasis: Alyssa Flynn, UN Las Vegas
Alyssa was only recently installed into UNLV Circle K but she is already an active member seen at many events. Her friendly attitude has ensured that she\'s been welcome with open arms into our Desert Oasis family. Alyssa also has a lot of leadership potential, some of which Key Clubbers got to see during her financial aid workshop at Key to College in December. She is only a freshman, meaning that there are still endless leadership opportunities for her to pursue in CKI. We\'ll just have to wait and see what she has in store next!
Foothill: Andrea Alfaro, LA City College
Andrea is an active member ever since she joined LACC club in Spring! She\'s eager to chair events and brings up new impactful events such as assisting Doctor Without Borders. Her enthusiastic dedication is never unrecognized as she strives to help the club and attending events!
Thank you to these members for their dedication to Circle K! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow members who have stepped as as leaders and check back next week to see more members get recognized!
